[SOLUTION] WordPress 3.2 Events Calendar Not Showing / Hiding Properly

Wordpress LogoIf you have recently updated to the latest version of WordPress, you may suddenly find that your Events Calendar is not functioning properly when you edit or create a new post. For example, clicking “All Day Event?” does the opposite of what should happen – hide the time schedule.

This is due to the latest version of jQuery that WordPress 3.2 is using which returns ‘checked’ instead of ‘true’ when checking whether a checkbox is checked.

To fix ths problem, open events-meta-box.php in the Views.

attr('checked') == true

and replace with

attr('checked') == 'checked'

And now you can create and edit posts as usual. Enjoy – and do let us know in the comments how it goes.
